Which way should I go?

Hi all, returning player here. I've just reached level 70 (have all the expansions) and I'm wondering should I continue in Dunland and enter Rohan from the west or should I shift over to the Great River and thence down to East Rohan?

I'm really inclined to take the Great River path since I would enjoy following Frodo and Company as much as possible -- I'm a big fan of the books. So does it matter which way I go or are they equally good?
