As a causal player, I finally capped one of my characters (level 85) after playing through Rohan.
What an awesome ride! (pun quasi-intended :P)
I have to say that the Rohan expansion is easily my favorite adventure pack to date.
All the quests and, especially the settings, were very cool. The addition of the mounted combat system was fantastic - I just love riding in the open plains on my fully customizable mount and putting the hurt to the Dark Force invaders!
The icing on the cake came just before I hit level cap (level 84) - the invitation to rebuild Hytbold. Whoever thought of this and the associated mechanics (quests, incremental rebuilding over time through player effort, new equipment available depending on rebuild progression, etc.) should get a raise! It's one of the best thought out and implemented things I have ever seen in an MMO! I'm having tons of fun at level cap, whereas in most other MMOs, once cap is reached I quickly become bored of running 'end-game raids'.
So again, thanks Dev team for this - there are plenty of great things about LOTRO - I've enjoyed the journey every step of the way - but Rohan has a special place in my heart. Kudos!!
